Tzatziki sauce ingredients
Cucumber: One of the main ingredients in tzatziki is the cucumber. You want to grate the cucumber before mixing it in. You can do this with a box grater. There is a lot of water in a cucumber. You can pat it dry before adding, but I typically just add it in as is.
Sour Cream: This recipe uses sour cream instead of yogurt. You can easily swap it out for a plain yogurt is you prefer.
Lemon: A little lemon can go a long way. Use a half of a lemon and taste. You can always add more if you prefer.
Garlic: Grate or mince your garlic very finely before adding. If you don’t like the taste of fresh garlic feel free to skip this ingredient.
Salt: Start with 1/4 tsp of salt and add more if needed.
Dill: The star of the sauce is the fresh dill. Use a full packed tbsp of chopped dill.
