How to Make Ahead

If you want to prep these sandwiches ahead of time you can make the sauce and store in an airtight container for 3-5 days.

You can also slice the green onions and cucumbers and store in an airtight container in the fridge. Don’t slice the avocado in advanced because they tend to brown quickly.

Common Questions

Can this sandwich be vegan?

Yes, you can use vegan mayo and sour cream to make the green goddess sauce vegan. Then just skip the feta to make it vegan.

What is the best bread for a green goddess sandwich?

I like sourdough bread best for this sandwich but whole wheat or rye would also work great.

Can you add protein to this sandwich?

If you want to make this green goddess sandwich a little heartier you can add protein to the sandwich. I have added some mashed chickpeas or thin slices of tofu to this sandwich for an extra protein punch.
